Oregon Blueberry Cream Soda Floats

Cool and refreshing, this sparkling blueberry ice cream float recipe is sure to impress. It’s great for kids as well as the grownups, and it’s easy to make. Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh Oregon blueberries
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 
  • Zest from one lemon 
  • Vanilla ice cream 
  • Cream soda 

Directions

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat add blueberries and vanilla extract. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the blueberries have softened and released their juices, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove from heat then add your lemon zest and place in refrigerator to cool. 
  • To assemble your floats, add ice cream and blueberry sauce, layering for a burst of blueberry in each bite. Then top with cream soda and enjoy!
