This Homemade Blueberry Sauce is sweet, syrupy, and loaded with juicy blueberries. If you’re looking to elevate your breakfasts, desserts, or even savory dishes with a touch of sweetness. Move over cranberry sauce, there’s a “Blue” sauce in town!
Ingredients
- 12 oz. (or approximately 2.5 cups) frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 T. cornstarch
- 1 mandarin orange, freshly squeezed, juice and zest
Directions
- Add all ingredients to a saucepan over medium-high heat and mix to fully combine.
- Bring to a low simmer for approximately 5 minutes or until desired thickness is achieved.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Serve in place of cranberry sauce on your holiday turkey, or on the Oregon Blueberry Goat Cheese Flatbread.
